6 Essential Steps for Health & Wellness in Mind, Body, & Spirit for 2022 that Everyone Needs

Everything has changed.

-How we work, where you work, what type of work, how we rest, what we do for rest,

what we do to relax, how we soothe ourselves, how we make money, how we socialize, how we travel, when we travel, how we eat, how we move, how we feel, how we sleep, where we sleep, how we shop, how we dine, the things we do to soothe ourselves, how you date, how we exercise when we exercise, where we exercise, how we celebrate, where we celebrate.

Change is everywhere and it's in everything. And for most brains, it can't stand it.

Have you mourned your pre-pandemic life?

Most haven’t. I get it, change can be scary and these past two years have brought on SO much overwhelming change. Remember, the brain doesn’t like change.

This is our new normal, my friend.

Letting go of life as we knew it pre-lock down can help us arrive on a deeper level at this moment; where we need to be to heal, the only place you can heal, in the now. Things will never be exactly the same as it was before Lockdown. So how can we process? Where do we go from here?

These are the 6 Essential Steps for Health & Wellness in Mind, Body, & Spirit for 2022 that Everyone needs, but Only the Healthiest are Doing:

1. Feel

If you are truly ready, allow yourself to feel what you need to feel, even if it's uncomfortable. Is it disappointment? Is it fear of the unknown? Is it the need to feel safe? Cry, shout, scream, punch a pillow. Let those internal emotions out. Crying is the best medicine. Tears have cortisol. Tears = stress leaving your body. We often avoid the now to avoid feeling what we are feeling. Feel it. Breathe. By doing this you release it! You are safe. Remember friend, what you resist persists. If you are resisting peace by avoiding the present moment, it is the opposite of peace that will persist.

2. Center in Safety

I invite you to center yourself in safety. You are present here and now. Our power and safety are in the present moment. Bring yourself back to the one, unwavering truth: you are a spiritual being having a human experience.

- As a spiritual being having a human experience you can observe your thoughts, and yes, even the disappointed or fearful thoughts. Once you recognize these thoughts as separate from you, you can center yourself in safety and remember you are eternally safe.

3. Honesty

Keep it VERY honest with yourself. This is more important than ever. Recognize that the way we took care of ourselves pre-pandemic probably didn't serve then and it definitely no longer serves now. A health and wellness upgrade is no longer a luxury but a bare necessity in this new world. Your self-love must run deeper than ever to take care of yourself in mind, body, and spirit.

4. Recognition & Acceptance

Recognize and accept that you must make lifestyle changes to take care of and love yourself better than before - for yourself, for your loved ones, and for your community. You may notice the following...

-You probably already know what lifestyle changes you want or need to make &/OR

-You may feel overwhelmed at the thought of making lifestyle changes &/OR

-You may feel unsure of where to start &/OR

-You may be thinking of going back to previous behaviors that are different or

healthy, but for some reason have never stuck.

5. Support

If you are fueled by your self-potential and want to make a conscious effort to do things differently for yourself and for your loved ones, then try something new and get coached by me. Most incorrectly think they need more willpower.

-No, what you need is support and accountability along with your self-love. The truth is, willpower always fluctuates due to a variety of factors. In the end, relying on willpower alone is a form of self-sabotage. So what I'm saying is hire a coach to give you the support and accountability you need and deserve.
